ODG BOOSTER CLUB MEETING
MONDAY JULY 14, 2008
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm with 2 officers and 9
members present.
Secretary’s Report was given by President Tracy Jones from the
banquet meeting in June, and approved. ODG minutes and info can
be found on the web site

Treasurer’s Report also read by Tracy - Balance of $2,751.71,
Cici’s profit $138.39, Tops concession $90.. Banquet expenses
paid. A full report is available upon member request. Scrip
orders are still being taken- orders go in at the end of every
month. GoChi is an ongoing fundraiser- anyone needing info see
Gary or Tracy-you can order on odg website. We received a check
for over $200.00 to be deposited for GoChi orders.
Anyone interested in taking over the Treasurer’s position?

Old Business Tops Testing Friday July 18th 2pm- Boosters not
running concession but help is needed.
ODG golf ball drop was discussed as a fundraiser to replenish
banquet expenses. Info in your box soon. We may incorporate this
in with National gymnastics Day on Sept 13th. Any suggestions
for activities on this day- please put in Tracy’s envelope.
Suggestions: carnival outside with games/ open gym/ car wash/
leo sale (used) ?? Katies Korners individual fundraiser was
collected with 6 members participating.
STATE Meet: Melissa G/ Dawn/Gary will be the meet directors. The
theme is the “Golden Ticket” based on the Willie Wonka idea. We
need a few more chairmen for individual spots. The sign up will
be on the Booster Board. All chairmen are asked to begin working
on your area, please see Dawn first to go over any info she has
for you.
Bonnie B discussed with the group some legal issues and
concerns, along with how the sponsorship for the meet will work.
The agreement between ODG and ODG Booster Club will be a 50/50
split in profit.
Sponsorship: A group of members have already received the
mandatory minimum $300 for the Sponsorship Program. All ads’ are
due August 1st!!!!! Pictures will be scheduled by Dawn as soon
as the fall season begins.
CLARIFICATION: This is for participating members coaching
expenses for this coming competition season, NOT FOR THE STATE
MEET! A new form and sponsor level form will be provided after
our season starts. All ad’s you are getting for the program now
will be included in the state meet program and we will ad
specific meet sponsors and donations to the program and change
the cover for the meet.
Please get as many sponsors over the min. required that you can.
This benefits “all” who participate. You will definitely get
your minimum back to pay for your child’s(children’s) expenses.
New Business: ODG will have a float in The Girard Parade on Sat.
Aug. 16,2008. Chris W and Comm. will have info for you soon
about decorating etc.
Anyone who would be interested in a “non regional Vacation
meet”(i.e. Cancun,FL,Vegas, etc.. sign up on Booster Board.
Plans will be made and info investigated if there is an
interest. This would be 2009 Jan/Feb ??
all levels may sign up if interested.
New Business is to be brought to the attention of officers
before the scheduled meeting as was announced and in the minutes
at the beginning of this year. This is not to “hush” anyone but
to keep control at the meetings.
